LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW is the story of passionate craftsmanship in gourmet liquorice. With the mission to make the world love liquorice - one liquorice at a time, LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW has its own stores in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as retail partners in more than 40 markets.
As we continue to grow across markets and channels, we are looking for an E-commerce Business Development Manager who can help turn opportunities into action and drive scalable growth across our digital business.
This is a global role with a strong commercial focus, working across our own e-commerce platform and marketplaces. You will be at the center of key growth initiatives, helping us improve performance, unlock new opportunities, and build smarter, more scalable ways of working.
Your role
As our E-commerce Business Development Manager, you will act as a commercial growth driver across our digital business. You will identify opportunities, build business cases, lead projects, and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that ideas become reality.
Your responsibilities will include
Identifying and evaluating new growth opportunities across e-commerce and marketplaces
Supporting expansion into new markets, channels, and marketplace platforms
Building business cases and commercial recommendations based on data, trends, and market insights
Driving website performance improvements through CRO, UX optimization, and customer insights
Developing reporting and performance frameworks that support strategic decision-making
Exploring AI, automation, and new technologies that can strengthen our digital business
Leading cross-functional projects across E-commerce Sales, Marketing, Technology, Supply Chain, Finance, and external partners
Supporting larger marketplace growth initiatives, automation projects, and commercial analyses
Job requirements
We imagine that you
Have 2–5 years of experience within e-commerce, business development, consulting, marketplaces, startups, or similar commercial environments
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Are confident building business cases and translating insights into recommendations
Enjoy working with data and understanding customer behaviour
Have an interest in AI, automation, and digital innovation
Learn systems and digital platforms quickly
Thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment
Native-level German would be considered an advantage but is not required.
