We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our Supply Chain Team at LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW.
LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW is the story of passionate craftsmanship in gourmet liquorice. Founded in 2007 by Johan Bülow on the Danish island of Bornholm, we continue our journey of creating surprising combinations and sensory experiences with liquorice at the core. We are in search of someone who is able to work under pressure, is solution oriented, motivated by ‘getting the job done’ and know the power of great teamwork. You should understand how to act in a small organization with passionate people and be motivated by negotiating contracts and build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing, negotiation, and inventory of raw materials and packaging essential to our production processes. This role will play a critical part in ensuring timely availability of quality materials at optimal cost, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and working closely with internal teams, including Quality Product Development and Production.
In this role you will be responsible for identifying and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet company requirements for quality, cost, and delivery timelines. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement strategies. Stay informed of market trends, commodity pricing, and new suppliers or innovations in raw material and packaging sourcing.
Key responsibilities:
· Procurement of raw materials and packaging
· Supplier agreements for raw materials and packaging
· Contract, price and terms negotiation
· Approval of raw materials together with quality department
· Approval of packaging materials together with our Creative team
· Inventory management
Job requirements
About you and your skills:
The ideal candidate has +3 years of experience from similar positions within procurement, as well as a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree. Experience in other companies within the food industry would be good, but not a requirement.
Furthermore, we expect that you have:
· Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly to ensure the timely delivery.
· Excellent collaboration skills.
· Solution oriented and motivated by “getting the job done”.
· Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple supplier relationships effectively.
· Familiarity with inventory management systems and procurement software.
· Ambitious and result orientated with a positive attitude.
