Senior bookkeeper/Financial controller

At LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW, our Accounting & Reporting team plays a key role in ensuring high-quality financial data, strong controls, and reliable reporting across our international business. We are now looking for a new colleague to join the team and contribute to our continued growth.

You will become part of a team of six colleagues, working across the Nordics, Germany, Austria, the UK, and the US. The role combines operational accounting with ownership of reporting and financial processes, and can be shaped to match either a senior bookkeeper or a financial controller profile.

Your role
As part of the Accounting & Reporting team, you will work with both day-to-day accounting tasks and more analytical, reporting-related responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure accurate data, timely reporting, and strong financial processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Managing key accounting areas such as bank reconciliations, fixed assets, prepayments, and accruals

• Handling sales data from own stores and retail systems (e.g. Sitoo)

• VAT and tax reporting across multiple markets

• Ensuring accurate bookkeeping and proper documentation

Financial Controlling & Reporting

• Taking responsibility for selected parts of the monthly closing process

• Coordinating with stakeholders across departments to ensure deadlines and data quality

• Supporting financial reporting and audit documentation

• Acting as a financial sparring partner within your areas of responsibility

Process & Development

• Contributing to the improvement of processes, controls, and internal procedures

• Helping set standards for accounting and reporting in a growing international setup

• Supporting ad hoc finance tasks across entities and markets

Your profile

• You have a relevant education in finance, accounting, or similar

• You bring 5+ years of experience within accounting, bookkeeping, auditing, or financial controlling

• You have experience with accounting systems (Navision is an advantage)

• You are comfortable working with Excel

• You communicate confidently in Danish and English
